About Us
Trusted by trial consultants nationwide, Vulcan Research Services is an all-in-one trial consultant support vendor that provides recruiting, data-collection, AV/tech, and more, whether conducted online, in person, or in a hybrid format.
Vulcan Research Services (VRS) was created as a dedicated division of First Court to meet the growing demand for high-quality logistics and technical support in the world of jury research. For over 30 years, First Court has been a leader in mock trials and focus groups — and as more outside consultants began requesting our recruiting, technology, and data services, it became clear that a specialized branch was needed.
VRS was born out of this need: to offer the same trusted support services First Court is known for, but as a stand-alone vendor for consultants, law firms, and litigation teams across the country.

We work primarily with trial consultants and jury research firms, providing seamless, behind-the-scenes services that allow you to focus on strategy and insights while we manage the rest.
Our team handles the logistical components of your project, including juror recruitment and compensation, onsite attendance assistance and management, audiovisual setup, livestreaming, the collection of juror feedback/questionnaire data, and more.
With our proprietary Vulcan Interactive software, you gain real-time access to juror feedback, notes, and live deliberation streams, as well as features such as demographic cross-referencing, juror grading, and a confidential private team chat.

In the fast-paced legal world, we are flexible for our clients by providing quick turnaround times. We can (and have) executed productive and valuable projects within less than a week. Ideally, we prepare for a project over the course of a month in order to ensure the research is as organized, efficient, and satisfactory as possible.
Our software is one of Vulcan Research Services crowning achievements. It collects and creates graphs from jurors' answers to the questionnaires and shows the jurors’ live notes throughout the day. Witnessing the jurors' real-time reactions to the presentations is priceless.
